Bio:

Kaveh Ayati has born in 1983 in Tehran-Iran.
He started to play music at age 7 with conventional Iranian instruments such as "tar", however, at age 16 He Switched to nylon string guitar and so far with Bass Guitar. He started his academic education as a music player and maker at Tehran Conservatory of Music at 2003 and ended up his efforts as a music teacher. For Difficult social conditions and lack of live performances in Iran mostly the musicians are led to work as single But Kaveh joined the band called "font". Unfortunately, some problems made them disbanded. Currently He is engaged with two main Projects. The first one is called "The peace pipe" which is a modern jazz music, and the other one is a Band whom their music is considered as Progressive Rock.
By the next few weeks, official site and a section where you can access to multimedia files and Pictures will be prepared. You will find more biographical information and read some very interesting occurrences in……..section. It is hard to believe that a simple live performance at a rock party ends up with police rush and the band members in jail, isn’t it?
At summer 2007 a party held in Karaj-Tehran, a rock party. It was scheduled for performing live music by three bands that one of them was “Font”. They were about to show their efforts of more than one year to their friends. There were approximately 7 hundreds of people as audience. The bands performed their music from evening to night in an enjoying air and it is important to know the music genre was rock, even not metal, while the party was about to being done the police men rushed to the place and arrested nearly all of the guys. Unbelievably the charge was SATANISM therefore they have been sent to jail and forced to pay heavy fine.
