A SONG FOR YOU

I make a strong effort to watch the sunset every day. I wake up very early (Mom grew up on a farm, y’all so I can’t help it) so I also get a chance to watch the sun rise.

I was watching the sun rise over the East River yesterday morning before I met my brother to do some shopping. I had this song in my head that would not leave. The song is part of a Saturday Night/Sunday Morning playlist I did for a friend. This song is part of the Sunday Morning

POLITICIANS, BS, AND A LESSON FROM YOUR WALLET

Let’s say you had an annual income of USD200,000, and your income increases by 5% each year.

Let’s also say the only debt you have is a mortgage for USD75,000, which is 38% of your income. For giggles' sake, let's add that you have an interest rate that is lower than the rate your income is growing.

Assuming a conventional payment schedule for your mortgage, would you worry about going broke? Disregarding any expensive vices you may have that we

Nana Vasconcelos! Great song here. Have you heard the solo work he was doing with Bill Laswell back in the day? It was when that label...hm, forgetting the name...was pushing into world music heavily. They had an incredible artists roster: Fela, Nana, Kazumi Watanabe(Mobo Club), Wally Badarou and more. OH, the label was called Gramavision. Always had great artwork too.

No need to go to the music store for "World Systems". It's on-line only and FREE. Check 'em out and tell me what You think.

Also...I see that You like the Max Roach band of the early 60's. I'm wondering if You knew that Julian Priester who was on my FORMATIONS album was the trombonist in that band.
...and also....I saw You mention something about REPTET. Chris Credit is in that band and he was on my LOKA cd and we're working on a project right now called Electric Oracle. We're rehearsing Friday. It's gonna be sik.
cheers,
~MSW
